User avatar question

I’ve noticed in some threads that when members are addressed by their user names, their avatar shows up (in miniature) in front of their user name. Am wondering how to do this. (Hope this makes sense). Thanks in advance for any help!

Use the "@" symbol in front of the username, "@ JW225" (no space) becomes JW225
