You could cover that rubber handle with camo wrap tape
Too bad they put that cut-out in the blade. Be cool to sharpen the beard on one. I use the RMJ sharpened beards to cut vines and such on the trails.

If you're going for a handstop of sorts on the bottom of your handle, you ought to try a Turk's head knot instead, they have a cleaner finished look.
