Loving the looks of this knife. I'm not familiar with Krupp 4116 steel and would love to hear from owners of this version of the Leatherneck. Is this blade of the same toughness we all know and love from Cold Steel? Looking for opinions on edge retention, balance and buildquality. Thanks guys !

Yeah I hear they get a lot of love. Funny thing is I went ahead and got a Leatherneck today and was surprised to see the guy behind the counter handing me an older flat ground SK-5 model?? I didn't hesitate and bought it.

I don't blame you for not hesitating! While the 4116 Krupp models perform very well, my personal preference is the flat grind SK-5 carbon steel version.
