User or safe queen

Hello all. I own many knives but for some strange reason the other day while sharpening my knives i came across the thought should i be using my knife. It is a becker bk15 discontinued model. I love this knife. It is in my top 3 favorite sub 7 inch blades. I enjoy using but since i know i can never get another should i put it up as a safe queen or keep using as my hearts content. What do you all think

You gotta keep using it. It will only become a better companion the longer you carry it.

Be happy you are in the right time and place that you have the pleasure of carrying this fine blade. Maybe when it has a storied history it will be time to pass it to a relative or someone deserving.

Haha.... It's Only a Becker.
There are no Becker "safe queens" use it.

Just don't lose it, and you haven't anything to worry about.

and if you did.....there are Tons floating around.

I've only got one, will likely never find another, and love using it. It is especially good at turning big pieces of meat into smaller ones.
