Yes, 392 is DLC, as is the 562.Just to be clear: the 392 is the DLC coated Ti handle correct?
If that is the case it's a very easy choice for me. 562.
1) I don't like metal handled knives. I like the grippiness of G10 or micarta.
2) I happen to dig orange G10.
3) I personally don't see where the 392 is worth an extra $120. That extra $120 can be put toward another nice knife...
Dunno, but Dropbutt sounds good to me. Hinderer and Spyderco are famous for them.I don’t own the 392 but I imagine I would prefer it due to the more inline handle.
The dropped butt on the 562 isn’t that pronounced. So really either would be fine. Otherwise I find them to be extremely similar knives.
PS: is there a term that is used to describe a handle that has a dropped but? (So that the handle is curved and not inline with the tip?)
