Using an edge pro on your rats?

Does anyone else use an edge pro on your busse kin? If so, what is your angle? I got my rodent solution nice and sharp, but the angle seem really high compared to other knifes. I know I am still learning this sharpening system but I'm curious about others experiences. I used the sharpie method and it's what it needed.

Are there any tips you can give me to help me reach the full potential?

I have a ratmandu and a warden to do next week.

Thanks

John

Not a rat, but I've used one on a fusion battle mistress before. It was a long time ago but I think I used the 20 degree/40 included angle marks, which thinned the edge a fair bit but still very durable.

The Swamp prides itself on producing extremely tough knives, unfortunately that means a lot of them are given an extremely tough edge-geometry that could withstand bashing through a lot of concrete.
Normal cutting geometry for a knife (not intended to bash concrete) is ~15 dps / 30 inclusive with a swipe or two at 20-dps for a stronger microbevel at the apex. Thickness behind that bevel can be taken down to <0.015" for better cutting performance or left closer to 0.025" for increased durability. Grind the edge according to your expected use of the blade  You may want to use a very very coarse hone to grind down the bevel to your desired thickness and angle before using finer hones to polish it up.
