Hello,

Thank you for letting me join your forum!

Home depot sells 10" metal cutting blades for a chopsaw with the same size mandrel as my table saw. Can I use this blade in my table saw as long as I dont exceed the RPM's reccomended for the metal cutting blade?

I will be cutting some 1" crs round bar.

Thanks

re very useful for some things and in some cases can be used in place of a mill....For instance, I cut the slide grooves in a 1911 frame I made using a table saw and metal cutting blade.......A word of warning though.

I have an old table saw that I just use for things like that. I wouldn't even think of putting a metal blade in my good saw because the dust gets in the bearings and will wear the bearings just like it wears the metal on what your cutting.
