Using pics from Instagram

I have seen a few people pull their pics from Instagram and use them in post, how can you do this??
Also, can I download my pics from Instagram?? I have a few that where in my old phone when it broke, I would love to put them on my hard drive.
 
Saving a screenshot with the picture open is the only way I know to do it. Seems like there should be an easier way though. I'd like to know it if that's the case.
 
There's a free Websta Instagram Web Viewer. Link your Instagram account to it. Click on My Posts for your photos. Click on the picture in question. Click on DL. Click on Medium or Large Size. A new web page opens with the JPG link that you want.
 
Whenever I post a picture, a copy of the pic just automatically saves into my phone. Otherwise I screenshot it.
