Using Plastidip on Pelican Case Foam

Any reason I shouldn't spray plastidip on the pick and pull foam in my pelican case? I use it to store my production folders, mostly Benchmade and Spyderco.

I'm looking to give it a cleaner look so you can't see all the individual squares.

I've seen a lot of YouTube vids with people using this method for the inside of their gun cases.

The foam I think is polyurethane . If there are solvents in the Plastidip they may instantly destroy the foam ! I tried that once with acetone and Styrofoam , the foam just disappeared !!!
Always do a test on plastics and solvents first !

Will definitely test it out on some of the foam I pulled out.

Any possibilities of damaging the scales
Or blades?

There is always that possibility. The operative word being "possibility". I'd be more concerned with moisture build up in the case, or having a dessicant material fail.
