Using Quotes ??

Ok, I've tried several different times to make those "box with quotes" in some of my replies. I don't want to experiment in someone else's thread so I figured someone could explain to me how to do this.

It's when you want to comment on someones post but there are several post between yours and theirs and you want to show what post your referring to.

Dumb, I know but can't figure it out.

Ok, I think that I am close but I can't seem to get the user name with the post.

Edit: I got it. Just tried it in another section of BF. Delete this if you need.

Here's another trick. How about multiple quotes, quoting more than one person so you can answer each of them in your one post?

You found the Quote button. Now look next to it for the " button. Use the " button for one post after another, and then use the Quote for the last in the series.

Don't forget, when you do quote someone, you don't need to leave the whole post there. You can delete all but the specific lines you are responding to.

to get the poster's name and the entire quote, for say, use in another thread, you can do this:

1. hit quote button. the name and quote will appear in a box.
2. highlight and copy the entire text in the box.
3. repost wherever you like.
