Just got some G-10 that I didn't know was going to be textured, but it is. At first I was pissed off because it shipped with this whole corner pulled up and I didn't know it was textured, I thought I was getting plain ol' G-10, so I thought "Great, this crap is already delaminating. Wonderful..." Then I realized it is the stuff you tear the top layer off of and it's textured ala Spyderco folders. Really cool. Never used this before.
Anyway, the question is, how do I set pins and tubes in this? Obviously the idea is to keep the handle flat and use a little chamfering to round the edges, but if I want to use 1/4" SS tubing for pins, what's the best way to do it? I suppose just measuring and cutting, then epoxying them in, is the way I have to do it, but I thought there me some better way or some trick I didn't know...
