I finally saw a 55 in a store the other day and I'm thinking of getting one.

Have many of you have gotten one, and if so how are they working out for edc?

I have one. It is a nice gentlman's folder. Slices very well and feels very sturdy. I like mine.

I like mine and use it occaisionally. I have quite a few others in my collection, so it doesn't see that much pocket time but it's a nice knife:D

 Neat little knife. I used mine for a few weeks after I got it but my hands are such meat hooks I went back to a bit of a bigger knife. That little 55 cut like a bee thru a flower patch. Just a nice carry. Now carrying a 531 I picked up a while ago. I'm sure the 55 will end up being used again though.

I like mine as well. I use it as my "food" knife, cutting up apples, cheese, etc usually while I'm at work. I like the look and feel, it's nice and sturdy for a small folder.

:p ...I must be getting "fickler" in my old age...LOL...After reading about the 55, I pulled it out to look at it again and I had to move a sheathed knife aside to get at it. Well it was an old 3 pin 501 that I haven't used for ages...LOL...It's a bit larger than the 55 and a lot smaller than the 531. Guess what's now in my pocket, LOL...yep...the 501. Age has it's priviledges I guess...:D . That 55 still feels neat in the hand though.

DarrylS,

I reach for my 501 quite often, it's a nice 'tweener. Preston

The 55 has been my EDC since I got it in March. VERY handy everyday pocketknife. It cuts like crazy and fits my hand just right for the type of cuts I generally do with a pocketknife (i.e. NOT field-dressing deer, cleaving 3" manilla hemp roap, etc. Plus, it LOOKS cool as hell! :D
