USK1...New fighter proto
Been a busy little beaver as of late and finally took a few pics.
Enjoy!
Part of the threads are showing in the Pommel just a bit of the learning curve showing :D I guess
Next one will get NF threads instead of coarse threads and coated with JB Weld instead.

NICE !!!

what's she made of ?? and dimensions and such ??

I don't mind seeing the threads in the pommel, nice & secure that way, especially when chopping hard/harder/hardest.

Cheers,

Carl

Specs:
This one is 1/4" (future models will be 3/16") Bead Blasted ATS34, 5 5/8" blade 10 1/8" OAL
Convex grind main edge and flat grind false edge
3/4" down to 1/2" Tang runs thru the handle and has an integral threaded end.
Pommel is threaded on the Stacked G10 handle.
Guard and Pommel are 1/4" 416SS
Balance point right at the guard

Truly a prototype for me as I will be making a number of this style in the future. There will be two possibly three Blade shapes and at least two handle shapes but the basic construction will stay the same.
Designed to fit the Blackhawk sheath system.
