I received this Case XX USMC Sowbelly from Modoc ED a couple weeks back.
A gift from one member to another, but understand, Ed and I have never met in person. He thought this knife should belong to a Marine. Simple as that.
I sat my family down to dinner the night Ed's gift arrived and talked about the value of showing kindness to strangers.
As some of you may know, my mother-in-law who lives with us is battling pancreatic cancer. The last few weeks has been especially hard, and Ed's thoughtfulness was well-received by the entire family.
