USMC Kydex blunting?

As far as I know the blunting issue was limited to first generation sheathes, and current production no longer did such.
 
The BK2 comes with a Glass Filled Nylon (GFN) sheath, not a Kydex sheath. Likewise the USMC comes with a choice of leather or GFN. I have not heard of dulling issues concerning the USMC, however, I do not own one so I cannot say for sure if it does or not. All I really know is, with the BK2, a while back Kabar lowered the glass amount in the sheath to cut down on dulling. There are also a few at home mods you can do, however, experiences and satisfaction with the stock sheath vary. Some get dulling, some don't. Some like the GFN, some don't. Lastly, a proper draw technique will help curb any dulling issues.

I can say though from personal experience, for my BK2, I never gave the stock sheath much of chance to do anything. I bought a Spec Ops Combat Master sheath for a bit more versatility and it is awesome.
