Hello,

I am a collector of Fairbairn - Sykes Knives and I live in the Netherlands.
Do any of you know where I can buy a well made repro of the famous Raider Stiletto.
I know camillus has made them some 15 years ago. And I have heard that H.G. Long & co made them.
Any help will be welcome!!

Marc

Marc,
Yes we made the orignals, and we made some repro's[with original blade blanks!] in the late '80's, but I can't tell you where to find any now. Seems there are alot of folks looking for them

Thanks for the interest!

Will,

Thank you for this quick reply!
But I will stay in touch with this forum, maybe somebody else knows.

Thanks!

How about a re-introduction then, if there is a lot of interest.

I lucked into finding one of the Camillus Raider Stilletos at Smokey Mountain Knife Works several years ago. They were not in the catalog and they only had two in the display case at $25 each. I bought both. Mine is still NIB and the other belongs to a friend in the military who used it. They gotta be rare...I have not ever seen one since...either pictured, advertised, or for sale. To take this one away from me would have to be a BIG trade!! Here is a pic:

OOPS....I pictured the wrong sheath!!! I has a black leather sheath similiar to the one in this pic. Also....it came razor sharp!

I would be open to trades...but it would have to be something pretty nice.
