Can you tell me the value and origin of this knife?

I'm contemplating buying it. However, I don't know much about it.

It's listed as a US Navy Mk3 mod 0 Seal Dive Knife.

Any help would be appreicated. Thanks.

They sell new in the $40+ range on ebay, Used for a few dollars less. The design was changed about 2 years ago, the clip is now straight, instead of curved.

I got one in trade When i was a young pup in the corp. It is not a bad knife but the tip on the old ones rarely survive. They are just too swept in design and usually snap off when using it for any prying, or poking around in silt.

It will NOT hold an edge but will work well as it is designed for. Just sharpen it with a course stone.

By the way the Issue knife I hate to say is the CS SRK. Givin to every swabby going into BUDS.
