So i got 30$ CAD with me and i want to buy a knife i got choices with the UST Sabercut ParaKnife 3.0 and the Gerber Bear Grylls Ultimate Paracord Knife. i cant decide, i need your "expert advice" for this. Cheers!

For high quality Chinese made knives, the bear Grylls line can't be beat. I have most of the BG line and their quality top notch:thumbup:

Bear grylls: easier to sharpen, but will require sharpening more ofter, also flexible. 5cr15mov
Ust: better edge holding and exelent corrosion resistence, if its heat treated correctly you wont have a problem with it dulling quickly. 440c.

I would got with the UST if i were you, looks very nice too.

Welvome. Honestly, since you asked...to me, they both look like paracord wrapped survival silliness built to suck in people who have watched a few too many survival shows and have never spent any time outdoors.

There's no way those are the only choices you have. Find an online store among the many member retailers here and get a Victorinox Alox Farmer. You will be a million times better equipped.

I'll admit to my fair share of what I consider high quality Chinese stuff but I agree with marcinek... $30 will, off the top of my head, net you an Ontario Rat-1, I have 3, and tons of people here love them.
