So here's our patch:
See Reply post below, got confused between the old and new methods!!
Embroidery is is not quite the same as digitial printing, so the design lost a liitle to the sewing needle, but it's still pretty cool looking. I had heat shield backing applied, so that velco tabs could be glued on. That way the patch can be placed for casual wear or pulled off for serious duty. Actual size is 4" X 2 and a eighth".
Cost is $3.00 per patch, which includes U.S. domestic postage. Foreign postage may add addtional cost, depending on circumstance. Any advice on Foreign shipping would be appreciated.
For the month of September, they will be a limit of five patches per suspect. I want to insure that everyone gets a chance at a few, since this will be a one-time production. After September, if any are remaining, anybody can get as many as they want.
Payment can be made in US funds and payable to:
Seth Roberson
P.O. Box 22
Plymouth, CA, USA 95669
For the Suspect's convenience, I will accept personal checks, money orders, and Paypal(currently being verified)
One disappointment is the one-off shirts for Ernie and Derek. The lowest bid that I could get for digitizing the logo for computer embroidery were around $80. Another $30 just apply it to a polo shirt. I felt this made it cost prohibitive for just two shirts. However, I still want to express our thanks to Ernie and EKI. I'm going to send some patches with a nicely printed thank-you oversized card. My thought here is that I could imprint each patch buying suspect's BF handle and or real name on the card. It would be a simple gesture of thanks.
I've set up a special email box to handle the traffic:
seth_roberson@sacbeemail.com.
feel free to ask any questions.
I'll confirm shipping to each suspect, as I mail the package. Long-time suspects will be cross shipped.
Special credit and Thanks to Don Rearic for the Original logo Concept.
