Well, I was ready to have the printer shoot the screens last week and I called it off at the last second because I found another pic of the Rhino which made me change my artwork. Now I am giving the printer the revised artwork this evening and they will be done the following week.
On the first Usual Suspect shirt I owned the featured knife so I could study every part of the knife first hand. Unfortunately, I don't own a RHINO.
The Rhino is a real pain to draw because it has so many subtle lines to its shape. Both the blade and the handle are all curves. I have been looking at GIFs of this knife, eyeballing the lines and proportions. When I saw this other pic I realized that some of my lines were off.
I want the RHINO to look dead on so its taken A LOT longer than I originally expected. I have revised the artwork about four times now, each time getting it closer than I thought I could the previous time. Anyway, one week from Monday I should be picking up the finished shirts.
I don't know about the rest of you guys but I get the occasional nasty look from the PC when I wear the first Usual Suspect shirt. With the unmistakably un-PC Rhino emblazened across the back, this shirt will throw them into caniption fits!
