Hey Suspects!

All of this debate over the new Policy changes leaving us unable to post links to For Sale ads and the like got me thinking. Why can't we have an email group set up for just that purpose? Well, I researched a little and now we have one:

Emerson_Usual_Suspects@yahoogroups.com

First you have to join the group, then all you do is send an email from the email account you joined with to Emerson_Usual_Suspects@yahoogroups.com, and EVERYONE in the group gets your email. Replying to an email sent to the group will also be broadcast to all members via email.

To join this email list just send an email to Emerson_Usual_Suspects-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. Remember, you MUST use the email account you want to access this email list with! Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Robert, I've discussed this with our local Computer Whiz (Eric) and he's got something in the works like this as part of the "USN".

Eric, any words?

John

That would be even better! Eric, if you have something along the lines of this, PLEASE let me know ASAP. We can hold off on doing anything untul it's ready, or else use this format until it IS ready.

:D

Eric Blair. Usual Suspect. Computer geek. Walking arsenal. Goat farmer. :D

Yes, Eric is the bastard child we keep in the cellar, so he won't scare the tourists away. :D :p

I should have the damn link memorized by now, but I don't. Eric? Little help?

Emerson_Girl

We usually meet there on Wednesday and Saturday nights 9pm EST (Eastern Standard Time). Sidney is EST +16 hours, meaning that's 1pm Thurs and 1pm Sunday your time.

Or anytime you see Eric post "I'm bored, let's chat now" on the forum. :D

John

Robert, Robert, these things take time!!

And here it is. :D

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you'll find exactly what you're looking for.

If you don't see your name on the Usual Suspect list but would like to be added, simply e-mail me and I'll add you promptly. :)

Thank you for the kind words, Alan. :)

BTW, if you try the mass e-mail function you MIGHT get some errors when attempting to send, which will say something to the effect of "Too many recipients for this particular address". This is because some of the Suspects on the list either have the amount of e-mail recipients limited on their own e-mail utility preferences OR their service provider restricts the amount of recipients by default.
All in the name of spam reduction and virus protection.

So if you receive such errors when sending, simply remove the "errored" Suspect from the address box on your e-mail, and e-mail those "errored" Suspects individually. There's really no other way around this. Sorry.

Eric,
For some reason, my email to you got returned...should I take it as a hint!? LOL:( Please add me to the USN- y'all crowned me the Lady Suspect and all! HAHA!! Thank you in advance,
Jen
