Usual Suspects - Tactically in common

What I find most interesting about the regulars of this forum (aside from our shared fondness for Emerson Knives) is that we all seem to share very similar tastes in other tactical areas of interest as well.
Naturally we all become giddy with anticipation as we await the UPS delivery of The Wonderful Little Red and Black Box, but what other tactical toys do Usual Suspects tend to indulge in? I think it might be interesting if we each post somewhat of a "Fave Tac-Toys List" in order to see just how much we have tactically in common with one another. Or better yet, to narrow down the potential size of our lists, let's base this Tactical Toy List upon a hypothetical situation:
It's the end of the world. You need to get from Unsafe Point-A to Safer Point-B (I would never wish "entirely safe" upon any of you guys. What fun would that be?

), knowing that you will never be able to return to Point-A. What tactical gear will you take with you? The items that you take must be items that you currently own. You are limited to a max of 5 knives (Yes, only 5) and 5 firearms (2 longarms and 3 handguns). Other gear can be tactical in nature, or merely personal items that you feel the importancy or need to take with you. All of your combined items cannot exceed what you are humanly capable of carrying for short to medium distances. You may have these items on or about your person. A gear bag or backpack is permitted for ammo, spare mags, food, firestarters, and water (Katadyn Filters rock!); these items will be plentiful once you reach Point-B and are therefore unnecessary to list.

My List:

Blades - Strider WB, Busse Steelheart, Emerson 2000CommanderBTS, Emerson Titanium La Griffe, Leatherman Crunch

Firearms - Steyr AUG.223, Benelli Super 90 Tactical 12guage, HK USP.45, Glock27 .40, Stainless Ruger MKII.22 (Trijicons on all of them. ACOG'd AUG)

Miscellaneous - Surefire 6Z (spare batteries and bulbs), SS Luminox Seal Dive Watch, Gargoyle Legends sun/shooting glasses, Al Mar Tac-Jacket, Secondchance level II body armor, several thousand dollars worth of gold (mostly $20 Libs and Saints) and some silver (for barter). OH, and my wife!! No, not for barter, for a keeper.

P.S. In case this posting isn't Emerson-esque enough to keep our friendly moderator happy, let's just say that "Point-B" is either the Emerson Shop or David's house, both of which qualify as very Emersonian in nature, correct?

Okay, who's next?

Blades: Wide variety of kitchen cutlery. What? You thought that I would actually use my Emersons?

Firearms: HA! You must be joking. I live in the People's Socialist Republic of Manhattan. Besides, my doorman is crazy enough to scare away just about any intruder.

Misc: Random heavy objects with sharp corners that make good field expediant projectile weapons. Oh, and a six foot iguana that lives for terrifying the food delivery guys. come to think of it he would make a good projectile weapon too!

Just thought i would throw this out there. I just switched from a maglight to a Streamlight 20xL. The best buy i have made in a long time. Much more powerful than Maglight, and rechargeable. Battery lasts a long time on 1 charge. I highly recommend this light to anyone who may be in the market for a flashlight.

OK I've got some spare time right now I'll play.

Ok, since we're all headed to my house, I guess I don't have to pack anything
smile.gif
I think a better place would probably be Eric's, he's deep into the mountains of CA. So, if I were to pack to go to Eric's when the crap really hits the fan, here's what I would pack.

Primary Weapon:
Although I have a few rifles, including an H&K93, I would still grab the AK47. I must have ran at least 2000 rounds through this bad boy by now. It has never jammed once. Never a stove pipe, never a misfire, nothing. It's not really picky about the brand or type of ammo I feed it either. Not exactly the most acurate rifle, I get two inch groups at 100yards, but not bad either. It'll definately serve it's intended purpose. If I could carry an extra weapon I would grab the Mossberg shotgun with side folder stock & heat shield.

Knives:
I would grab a a blackend Cold Steel Recon Tanto attached upside down to my left shoulder on my equipment vest. Right front pocket CQC6. Rear pants pocket Commander.

Misc:
I would of course grab a bunch of 7.62x39 & shotgun shells, mags & drums. Extra parts for the AK, firing pins & small parts kit. As Ross said, toilet paper. Those leaves could get pretty rough. I know, real men only use sand paper,
smile.gif

Boots, thermals, gloves, gasoline, gold, lighter/firestarter, compass, flashlight, batteries, water purification tablets & MRE's.

Last but not least, my 65lb puppy. He'll fit in the duffle bag, I swear
biggrin.gif

Firearms, SIG P229 40 cal Nitesites 4 12 rnd mags and COLT HBAR, guaranteed to win any fight with a handgun or shotgun.
Knives CQC-6 and SARK.
Misc, Rolex Submariner(the one I have is 20 years old and has NEVER missed a beat. Royal Robbins 5.11 pants with camo goertex hunting jacket. Russel PH II Safari boots in Cape Buffalo. Digital cell phone, Volvo XC wagon.

Well, unfortunately I don't have much of an arsenal to take with me...

Knives: 2000 Commander, 2000 SOCFK

Handgun: Beretta 92F

Rifle: SPAS-12 shotgun

Misc.: lots of deer slugs, 9mm Hydra-shok, cash, TP, socks, maps, GPS, nightvision

Knives - Busse battle mistress w/Strider MT attached to the front,CQC6,MD Panther and a leatherman wave

Misc - proper clothing, boots, water tabs, waterproof matches, serious first aid kit, pocket saw, gps, monocular, lots of ammo, field repair kits for the guns, tuf cloth, gun cleaning kit. fuel blocks and anything else i could think of to carry in the pack or blackhawk tac vest.
