Hi Guys and gals, this Saturday the 22nd of November some friends and I will be going to Utah lake for an afternoon of shooting. If anyone is interested in joining us, we'd love to have you.

Weather should be nice, Clear skies and 50 degrees. Planning to car pool from my apartment around 12:00pm to the lake. Then shooting for a few hours and coming back around 3pm. Dutch Oven chili will be provided if there is interest and support.

The shooting range at the lake is on the side of a hill on the south side of the like. It's an unofficial range that tons of people use. We will setup a firing line and place to reload/work on guns. Hearing and eye protection will be required and Hearing protection with be provided for those that need it. Safety first!! It's also, bring your own ammo.

So if anyone is interested feel free to email or PM me or reply to this thread. Thanks,

Heber

Hope you can go shooting too. May I ask what you would be shooting?

I'm taking my Lever guns (Henry .22 and Marlin .357 Mag) matching revolvers (Rugers in .22 and .357 mag) and some Semi auto pistols and rifles. I plan to mostly shoot the .22's and my Marlin .357 Mag. If I can afford to by ammo for it, I'll be shooting my Springfield 1911-A1.

Nice selection you have there. Springfield Milspec 1911, Browning .40 Hi Power, Mossberg 590 12 guage, Ruger Mini-14, Ruger Gold Label side-by-side (pride of my collection). I don't own any more guns. I'll also most likely shoot whatever the folks I invite bring along too.

Thats a pretty good assortment you have. Bet that will make for a fun day. I've never shot a Browning Hi-Power before. Would love to though. Shot a CZ Pistol in .40 and it was pretty nice. Should probably call my nephew and see if he wants to come and bring his Springfield XD .40. It's a pretty nice pistol.

XD's are nice. Be sure to post pics of both the guns and scenery after the shoot. I've done some hiking in Utah, and it's beautiful.
