I've stumbled upon an awful lot of Utica knives on the web as of late, and I see that they are supposed to be manufactured in the U.S. The prices I've seen seem pretty reasonable, but I haven't actually seen any in person so I'm not sure of the quality. I have seen some pretty pictures though. Does anyone have any experience with these?

Do a site search of this sub-forum and I believe you'll find a detailed thread about the quality. I remember reading about Utica some months ago.

The old ones were very well made - don't know about the newer ones. :)

I have a couple of Utica knives of recent manufacture. GEC they are not, but I consider them worthwhile at that price point (low $30's for a 4" stockman).
