Greetings
I recently acquired a Utica / Kutmaster reject M1 bayonet converted into a general purpose hunting style knife. I heard these conversions were done in the post WWII period with stocks of M1 bayonet blades that were rejected by the US Govt.
I am not sure what kind of steel was used in it other than some sort of carbon steel. It seems quite rugged, but I am not really sure if they are good for anything.
It has about a 6" blade & the rest is pretty much like an M1 bayonet from the WWII era.
Looking to hear from anyone who used them for a rough use/ camping knife. Thanks.
