So I bought a Utilitac after hearing all of the good things about it and I am amazed at the quality of this knife that I got for $20 shipped.
Hairsplitting factory edge, Excellent fit and finish, Great solid lockup, fast deployment, and to top it all off it is completely centered and has zero blade play.
So why do other knife making companies that charge quite a bit more money have issues getting all of those factors right?

Agreed, had mine for a week bought it based of the other thread, loving it so far.. Still I love my para2 and bm mini barrage more but the utiliac will have a lot of pocket time

I've wondered the same thing. I believe in the end it's about the guys and gals at quality control and what mood they are in that day.
