(Utility and Combat) Kabar Marine/USMC vs Mercworx Sniper or Busse Team Gemini

I agree with you on the single-edge requirement. The Team Gemini has a single edge, I don't know anything about the Mercworx.

I dont think the mercworx can be included as a utility/combat blade as its sole purpose is a combat knife. Not much utility to it.
I'm not really sure what your question is. Is the tglb worth it? If thats your question the I would say yes. Everything that could possibly be improved on the kabar is done vastly with the Gemini. Steel, strength, grind, handle, design, etc.

They are both stronger blades with more ergonomic handles (in appearance at least, I haven't held the mercworx). The busse at least likely has better cutting ability as well. I would take either over a kabar if I had to build a shelter for the night in a forest or as a backup to a firearm. Although I might prefer the mercworx as single edged for bushcraft.

Check out the single edged Mercworx, I think you will like them. Nigel and the guys make one sweet strong knife T

I contend that a single-edged blade is a minimum for utility, especially if you want to baton or carry out certain tasks in bushcraft.

Thoughts?

I agree! Anything less than a single edge has no edge, and those "no edge" knives are worthless for combat/utility.
