Here's another one headed out the door. This collector asked for something "tactical" as dark as possible. I don't like that word because everything is tactical now days. Quite a marketing ploy. This same knife could easily make a nice hunter/field knife.

Specs:

1080+ steel, .182 at the ricasso
8 1/8" overall, 3 7/8" blade
Black g-10 scales and pins
Tapered tang
Aggressive thumb notches but have all the sharp edges and corners knocked off
Contoured scales

This feels really great in hand.

Nice work. What do you use to make the notches (chainsaw file and file guide)? Also, when you figure out why non-tactical people desire "tactical" gear, let me know:-) I carried a shiny non-tactical Randall model 18 when I was "tactical" - lol

Thanks guys.

For the notches, I used a chainsaw file, freehand. I was just careful to keep them straight. I put them in after heat treat. I used a small file to knock off all the sharp edges and corners, then hit it with the buffer.

Outstanding! Beauty in simplicity. Only thing I'd prefer is less agressive thumb grooves. I really dig the handle contour.
