Here's a utility/hunter I just finished.

Specs:
1080 steel, clay quenched
8 1/2" overall, 4 1/4" blade (3 3/4" sharp), .180" thick just in front of the thumb grip
Black g-10 bolsters, dovetailed
Olive green g-10 scales with black g-10 liners
Black carbon fiber pins and lanyard tube
False edge, not sharp
Filed thumb grip
Tapered tang, tapers down to .018" at the butt end, that's pretty thin. :)

Any/all comments and discussion welcome.

John, This is a sweet hunter. Your attention to detail is very nice. The dove tail fit and alignment is spot on. The tapered tang of course @ .018 how thin can we go?
And the little hamon action just adds to a little more sweetness.

As always thanks for sharing

Very nice John. Love the color combo and tapered tang.

Damn, John! that is really slick. Great profile, great colors, great knife overall. Looks like it feels great in the hand.
