Utility or Fang?

Since these two models are slated for discontinuation, I'm going to buy one, only I can't decide which. For those of you that own these knives, can you comment on your particular experiences? I don't have the opportunity to handle these myself, so.. I'm kinda leaning towards the Fang, basically for self-defence, but some utility as well. As well, has anyone tried throwing the Utility? Thanks a lot,

If you're looking at primarily defense, then go for the fang. The curved grip seems to be better suited for that, as it gives a more secure grip and is better for slashing. the utility is just that, a utility knife. Straight grip for slicing and cutting chores, but not as secure for defensive purposes.

Personally, I prefer the utility, as my main defense tools are my feet, as in "feet don't fail me now", for leaving the area. I have sold more fangs than utilities though. So, in popularity, the fangs have it. The serrated ones seem to sell the best.
