Does anyone know utility, hunting or military knife that is balanced forward and will be easy to throw ?

How about the Cold Steel True-Flight thrower?

Michael Janich wrote an article on throwing, well, anything really in a Tactical Knives article. In it he said Cold Steel is a one stop throwing knife shop. Their hawks are throwers, their shovel is, they have a torpedo which is a throwing weapon. And they have tons of other throwing blades (like the one pictured above.) You an also throw Ka Bar type knives. You can throw any knife.

Janich mentioned in te article that Polish military bayonets are designed for throwing as well as using as a bayonet, so check that one out.

Hi

What are you planning to do with it?
If you are just going to throw it I would suggest getting a Bobby Branton thrower. I hear they are good for the price.
But if you are like me and want something you can throw, cut with and so on I would look at maybe the Ka-bar or the Blackie Collins ninja

I like small throwers that can be used for some general purpose stuff as well.

It's more the thrower than the balance of the knife. There are knives that shouldn't be thrown. I've seen Ka-bars break in the handle, but just about every knife will break somewhere. It just takes time.

Some military customers of mine threw my knives as a strength test.

I throw old bayonets (WWI) they're all steel. I think they go for around $20 now a days. Yes, I like throwing big knives.:D

Before you throw those bayonets... make sure it is not a valuable antique.
