Hi Folks,
This sword has a 14.75" forged blade of 1075 high carbon spring steel with a wrapped handwood handle. It weighs 1 pound three ozs., and balances 3" in front of the handle. It has a 3/16's spine at the handle with a distal taper. It's been left rough, it has hammer marks, file marks, and the blade has been aged with lemon juice. it's not made to be a showpiece, although I do think it has graceful lines. It's meant to be used hard. I cleared out a section of overgrown land, and experienced no hot spots. Lately, I've taken a liking to bird of prey pommels, just cuz I think they look cool. It doesn't interfere with performance at all. The sword is carried over the shoulder in a baldric rig. It makes it easy to take off or put on, a good idea for a working tool. As always, I thank you for taking the time to look at my work, and deeply appreciate you comments.
