Hello All,
I just finished this knife up for a friend, built to his specs. He wanted a plain-Jane utility/work knife in green Micarta with a bead blast finish. He drew me a picture of exactly how he wanted the knife to look. Gave it to him today, and he was very happy with it. The customer is always right-right?
Thanks for looking.
Scott

I like that Scott, sweet knife. Also, like the sheath. What are the dimensions blade and handle and what steel? If you made that or something like it what would be the price?

You should work on more of those designs, that's a keeper and a seller here at BF from what I see selling or something similar.

Very nice looking workmanship, quality in that one!;)

Hi SpearZ,
Thanks once again for the positive feedback. This knife is O-1 tool steel. The blade is 4" and the handle is 4 1/2". I would make a similar knife for $95.00. Thanks again for your support. I plan on making some just like this in the near future, and maybe adding some texturing to the grips.

Scott right on, let me know when the future ones are ready I have been thinking about getting one like that blade and handle size. Do you have any A2 or D2 steel for that knife?

On another of your knives, you said had a grippy feel to it or this texturing do send me pictures when available.

I'd have to send A2 or D2 out for heat treat which would add to the cost some. I've got some O-1 blanks cut so I'll do those up first. The grippy feel comes from the bead blasting the G-10. I really like the texture it leaves. I was thinking of doing something like this next, but not quite so deep. I'll post some pics. Hopefully as soon as mid next week.

Sounds good Scott, look forward to it. 01 is a good steel, A2 or D2 was just a thought if it worked for you, no problem. Can look into that if necessary. Maybe add some meat to the blade or is that the thickness of the 01?

Sent back a big reply, hope it made sense to you. Look forward to seeing the knife.
