Does anyone knows, what does these Cold Steel's knife names mean something (they sound like abbriviations for me)? Or they are just packs of letters?
Thanks Beforehand!

Good question. The Microtech UDT comes from Underwater Demolition Team, so I would guess the Cold Steel UWK means UnderWater Knife. OSS was the Office of Strategic Services, the WW II predecessor of the CIA. ODA I can't even guess.

Unfortunately, in the Cold Steel Special Projects catalog, they don't even give a hint about any meaning for the initials.

Close, but not quite. ODA refers to Operational Detachment Alpha, aka "A-team". It's a US Special Forces term.

UW was said in another place to be an acronym for Unconventional Warfare. Unconventional Warfare Knife maybe?

That sounds good.

Like a lot of Cold Steel printed materials, these acronyms seem designed more to make the knives sound tough than to tell us anything about their intended use.
