Uzi tactical pen

I dont personally own one but I have looked at it and being a penmaker, i dont particular like it.

1- theres a rubber cap over the "DNA collector" to protect your thumb when using as a kubaton. But if you turn it around to use the DNA collector, you'd stab your thumb on the point of it.

2- to open or close the pen, it takes maybe 3 or 4 full rotations. It should only take 1.

3- If I were to make the UZI pen i would give it a screw cap pen with a Rollerball cartridge over the Space pen cartridge. For 20 bucks, its a good deal if your looking only to write with it and never have to cap it. Go with a benchmade or elishewitz etc. There are plenty of pens out there. keep looking.

Looking for opinions on the uzi tactical pen.

It needs to look more uzilike. Black stamped casing with ridged black plastic grip. And it needs to say UZI on the side in giant red letters.

This pen isn't very uzilike at all. :(

The "Tac pen 1" looks way too much like the Rick Hinderer pen for my liking. If Rick didn't have anything to do with the design then it's pretty much just a rip off. The second one they did looks a bit more original but it's not to my tastes. I would take one of the Mil-Tac pens over the Uzi personally if I was on a budget. Something like a Surefire pen or a real Rick H. pen would be a far better choice but obviously they cost more.
