V2 Power Chip a great flashlight

Recently, I cam into possession of this German-designed flashlight.
It is a very bright light.

It is not only sturdy but elegant in design. Some people have mildly criticised its rubber-buttoned switch but I think it is not a hindrance at all.

I believe this V2 power chip is relatively new in the flashlight market. But there seems to be quite a number of German websites on this particular flashlight.

Anyone knows more about this V2 Power Chip?

I had a couple of Led Lenser V1 Moons in blue and white, but the clicky switch on the white one gave out (gave that one away) and I decided to sell the blue one to fund an Arc AAA. These were 5mm LEDs, and not the 1-watter like the one in yours.
