Hello, I am new to knife collecting. A while back I was given a knife by a friend of mine that was hidden in the basement rafters of a house he had purchased. That was 8 years ago. I came across a recent picture in a catalog
of knives and saw a picture of the knife that was given to me,a CASE V-42
stiletto. Everyting about the knife tells me it is authentic from the pin in the pommel, the specific snaps, and the thumbprint on the ricasso. It is in excellent condition except for some pitting on the blade due to some surface rust. Could anyone tell me the value of this knife since I know there were
only about 3,423 of these made. I am very excited to have a knife with such history. I appreciate any input.......Thanks
