Ok, so as most of you know, I work at Gatorland in Orlando, and we just reopened our gift shop (after having burned down almost two years ago). Well, I went to look around today and found the knife display. We used to have chinese knock off tacticals. Now, I find box after box of Case pocket knives!!! Barlows, Stockman, Toothpicks, Whittlers, Trappers, Copperlocks (Which I really like, by the way), Copperheads, Russlocks.... big ones, little ones, blue ones, purple ones, Orange pocketworn ones, ALL KINDS of them!!! Man oh man, a traditional knife knut's dream come true. However, very very bad from a broke new family man who can't AFFORD them. Damn. This is torture. To handle a beautiful green jigged Copperlock, and not be able to keep it.
Oh well.
Gatorland is a very folksy park, capturing the feel of old Florida, and it makes sense that they team up with a folksy knife company like Case.

Congrats ElCuchillo, sounds like you got a job in collector's heaven! It's really gonna be a test for your self control:eek::D I don't think I'd be able to handle it:o

Eric

PS- Now that you mentioned slipjoints and folksy in the same paragraph, the thread should stay put;)

Things tend to stay put when they stay on topic. ;)

(We've been down this road before. Just putting the words folksy, slipjoint and traditional in a sentence for the purpose of trying to keep a thread in the sub-forum and in an effort to circumvent the guidelines for the forum will not get it done.)

A link to the original thread was left in this sub-forum so that members could discuss the topic (if desired).
