I just got back from visiting family in Harrodsburg and Elizabethtown Kentucky. While I was there, I scored a few cool knives. Here they are.
In this picture:
-125OT, came razor sharp with new-looking sheath.
-Sodbuster Jr. in CV. All it needed was an edge and a coating of oil.
-USA Schrade stockman. Schrade+ steel, wood covers. Never sharpened.
-Leatherman Micra, Inspired by Pinnah's. Opposite side reads "Texaco International aviation Sales."
-Western pen knife. Has a great long pull and swedge on the main blade. The thing is TINY.
-SAK camper. I disassembled it, made new scales, and put it back together in a pen- knife configuration.
-The coolest one: Camillus (I think) stockman. The tang is stamped "High Carbon Steel, U.S.A. The thing was completely rusted shut when I picked it up. Gambled a little with this one, but when I got it home and opened it I found 3 full, undamaged blades. This thing is SOLID. Bear trap snap on all of the blades, absolutely no gaps, very little blade play on one blade, every bit as well built as my GEC #15.
Not pictured: two vintage razor hones. I think they're India stones?? One says " John ------ Razor Hone, Goods of trad Honor Mark", and the other reads "Boss Barber."
Any info anybody has on the unknown stockman or the razor hones would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.
