Vacation Time :)

I just wanted to give y'all a heads up that I won't be online from Thursday afternoon until the 20th. My wife and I are going on a cruise

This is the longest vacation that I have ever taken, and certainly the longest I have ever been away from my office and work (I'm going to get the shakes). However, my wife being the sly fox that she is, threw around the "grandpa" word to my dad. Just the thought of maybe being a grandpa was enough for him to insist that we take the 7 day cruise over the 5 day So this might be a "business"/vacation trip:foot:

At any rate, I obviously won't be available until i get back, but I'm blessed to be part of a great group of guys and gals that don't even need moderation I just wanted y'all to know that I hadn't fallen of the face of the earth:thumbup:

Welllll ya know Actually, I'm taking off work early tomorrow to get things 100% packed. We are leaving the house early Friday morning and driving to Louisville to drop the dog off at her mom's (2 hour drive). We're catching our plane out of Louisville around noon, then we're overnighting in Miami to make sure that we don't quite literally miss the boat Saturday morning We'll port the following Saturday, then fly back home just in time for the after party at our 10 year highschool reunion....I'm gonna be dead tired after this vacation

Cutlery wise I am packing pretty cheap in case it walks off. I'm supposed to be able to pack up to a 4" folder. However, all of the stuff I'm taking is tool oriented as to not scare the sheeple AND give me plenty of options if I need to fix anything. Packing a 4 layer SAK for general use and carry on the boat, a small back up SAK (because I'm neurotic), a tiny Spyderco Ladybug Salt for at the beach, and a Leatherman H502 that I got for a song for my HD folder (should I need one) when we hike around the Mayan ruins.

I'll have lots of pictures. Heck, i might even have some video. I really need to post the one my wife shot of my dad nearly blowing us up on the 4th of July
