I am trying this out for a vacuum stabilizer set up. The Food Saver has accessories that you pull a vacuum from. This pan is approx 5"x5"x4". It has a valve on the top for open, closed, vacuum.
Throw in your wood, goop, pop on the lid, attach a hose to the food saver and lid, push a button. 20-30 seconds later the lid on the container is drawn so tight you can't pull it off. In one of the pictures you can see the scales bubble (enthusiastically) from the vacuum. I've no idea how many inches this pulls. I am trying Klingspors Pentacryle from leavally.com. An acrylic based wood stabilizer. I'll also try Minwax wood hardener on some others and let you know how it works. At initial blush, it looks promising.

Try this:
Resinol 90 by Loctite
You will need to contact Loctite for a distributor.
This is a heat cure stabilizer.
I believe (Not Positive) that it is the exact same thng K&G uses.
I have had K&G do wood for me and it works great.
Let us know how it worked.
