Here's my new Valkyre Frame-Lock in carbon fiber and BG-42. (The blade still needs to be ground. ;) )

The reverse side shows how the back overlays were split. The smaller overlay follows the lock.

I hope you like it! :)

I like the way you've done the lock side. This is a very, very cool knife you've come up with Tom!! :D :)

Very stylish Tom.You sure have been comming out with some great stuff lately.Keep the pics up my resolve is weakening.:D

Wow, Tom! That is awesome - is the damascus on the blade? Very cool, it looks like that crazy anodization you put on some of your Ti handles!

It's not damascus - just selectively etched BG-42.

I tried to simulate the type of pattern I use in my multi-color anodizing. :)

Here's some more pics of the first frame-lock folder - now ground and rubbed down.....

How are you getting such excellent pictures of your knives ?also what did you etch the blade with? That is one wicked looking knife!!

I like it Tom. That is a great looking knife. I prefer the plain blade. This knife looks like it would act like an extention of the finger. To me, that is a real compliment to the quality of your work. As good as I thought you were in the past, you have improved a lot since the first time I had the chance to see one of your knives. You are doing some really fantastic stuff.

Thanks, guys! :)

Nathan:

I used ferric chloride to etch the blade.

I'm using a Nikon Coolpix 5700, with a little help from Photoshop Elements 2.0, to take these photos. ;)
