My GF thinks I'm a dork because I was loud and proud about knowing the knife. I was like omg it's a spyderco. It's a Valloton Sub Hilt! She rolled her eyes. It's a gorgeous knife. Now I want one. So damn pretty.

My wife and I watch the show and I received the eye roll when I pointed out the Spyderco the bad guy was using. That Spydie Hole makes for good screen recognition. :)

I saw it. The guys at work were all over mine today when I bought it in, My boss is watching Gotham and asked about the knife, so I let him handle it close up. (nice brownie points lol)
I don't think it was an auto as the guy would open it fairly slowly.
Cheers

Haha yes! Like, we know that someone in that show's crew is paying attention, just like the ZT on NCIS :D
Indeed.
And I hope it is like you say, with someone "paying attention" rather than just lucking out. You know, something like, "Hey we need a knife for a few scenes, send a random crew member quick" lol I hope not the latter.;)
Cheers

And random crew member never sees the knife again, then comes to BF to post in the "Stories of what non-knife people do with your knives" thread. :D

Thought that was a Valloton! But what was the knife Harvey Bullock used to cut down the hanging guy? Kwaiken-shaped blade.

Well, because of Gotham I had to go out and buy a Valloton. What a tank of a knife. Im really surprised at how much knife you get for the money. I think dollar value wise, its about as good as it gets. I also sat in bed practicing flicking it open while I watched the final scene with the serial killer.

Mac if I recall the auto is a double action kinda like the scorch from HK where unless you use the bolster release it functions like a normal knife.
