Hello everyone,

I recently aquired this nice knife, well kinda hard to call it a knife since it doesnt have a knife blade. It has a funny looking blade where a normal knife blade should be (compared to a VALOR # 175 - LB JAPAN).

Leading to this question, can anyone tell me what this blade is called or what its used for?

Thanks for any info!

Welcome to Bladeforums!

It's a very cheap camp "knife". There's a small curved blade below the scissors that looks like it might be a cutting blade. The long rectangular blade with the narrowed tip is a screwdriver.

thanks for the reply,

I had a similar cheap knife like this when i was a young boy, but I have never seen one that does not have an actual knife blade.

The small curved blade below the scissors is not a cutting blade either.

It has the typical small screw driver on the back side of the knife, and kinda thought the big one was also a screw driver, but had never seen one set up like this.

thanks again for your reply and info.

These were sold in Boy scout shops when I was a kid (about 30 yrs ago) they were cheap then and pretty much worthless now, <$10.00
