I am new to this forum and do not have much expertise. I bought a new Small Sebenza, back before there were different types of these. It is marked P101 near the pivot. I used to carry this a bit, but now that I am retired, I prefer a knife with a pocket clip. The knife has some marks on the finish of the scales from carrying in a pocket, but no scratches. The blade is excellent, as I rarely cut anything with it. It has never been sharpened. I have the CR marked sheath that came with it, but I believe the box is AWOL.
Can anyone suggest what I might be able to sell this for? Thanks for your help!

Really cool piece of history there, over 30 years old. It loses some value for the missing docs and the snail trails, but the beautiful blade and the fact that it's numbered make it definitely worth something. I'm going to make a guess in the 800-1000 range. My guess is only worth what you paid for it.

Another guess worth what it cost you, but I'd say both estimated ranges above could be achievable depending on where you choose to sell and how quickly you hope to get rid of the knife. If you posted it here for $800 you'd probably sell it in the next day or two. If you posted it here for $1000 or $1200 you might be waiting a bit for the right buyer to come along but I don't think it is unrealistic. If you sent it to consignment at AZCK for $2000 it would likely sit for a while but maybe eventually sell and you would net $1500 from that after they take their cut.

Honestly I think you'd need the box or docs for the $2000 to be realistic but I've shaken my head at CRK prices many, many times only for them to sell in fairly short order. Numbered knives don't become available very often and all you have to do is connect with someone who is dying to have one.

If I was in the market for one I’d be willing to pay somewhere in the lower range of Lone_Wolfe’s estimate. I’d bump that up to $1200 (or maybe even a bit more) with original box & papers.

Beautiful knife and as mentioned it an awesome piece of CRK history. I think without the box and original items it should be between $1500-$2000 given it’s condition

Here’s my small P. Has some snails but the blade is near perfect if not perfect. I feel very fortunate to have found this one. Hard to photograph the polished blade. It looks much more polished in person. I think this one is probably worth $1500-$2000 but I’m biased.

Awesome piece of CRK history!!! I would estimate somewhere between $1,000 -$1,500 without the original items and it being used. There are only so many that will ever exist out there and there are more and more CRK collectors coming into the arena every year.

I paid $1,500 for my large P, it had all the original items, box, birthcard, extra leather sheath and the original receipt. It was new in box as well. Even though I paid $1500, I knew it was closer to $1800-$2200 in actual value the moment I bought it, so definitely worth more than I paid value wise. Picked it up at a random table at Bladeshow 2 years ago. Felt Iike I won a small lottery.
