I saw both a Bradley Alias I & II - in Damascus - basically at half their original MSRP - as a dealer's marked down new old stock. They are nice - and the Devin Thomas Damascus is pretty. At half price, they are still Sebbie range - for a plain blade, maybe S35VN bladed Sebbie. I realize the Aliases were made by Benchmade and aren't in the same ballpark, fit and finish wise, with the CRKs. They are climbing the infield fence, however - especially considering the Damascus blades. Any user/owner comments would be welcomed. Opinions on whether I'd be happier with a new plain Jane Sebbie instead would be welcomed, too. Now my CRK 'collection' includes just a WC StarTac Umnumzaan and a fb Nyala. Thanks!

I have the Alias in I and II, and a bunch of sebbies. There is just no getting around it, the sebs blade has a handmade feel, which is just simply more luxurious than the obviously machine ground Alias. Something about the rounded spine. The way I describe a seb vs. a Bradley is "more substantial". Twice the money more substantial? That is up to the purchaser to decide.
By the way, my Alias II gets used hard, and has chipped. It is because of this that I tend to stay away from S30V in a hard use knife. In a seb, that is not a problem because mine are too pretty to use hard.
The damascus might be a tougher blade, if you can justify kicking the crap out of a $100+ knife.
