Hello all! Would anyone care to chime in on what a USED large Sebenza 21 Damascus steel teardrop Bocote Wood inlay knife would go for on the private market? I have one and I’m considering selling it. It has all original packaging with it and detail card. There are a few light scratches on the body, pocket clip and right side of blade but I’m thinking those could be polished out or lightened substantially.

I appreciate any and all feedback. Cheers!

When Bocote was discontinued a couple years ago, a new large Damascus sold for $750. I have bought used large Damascus anywhere from $450-600. Depending on use and inlays.

With it being used, having scratches on the slabs which drops the value, I’d expect to see one go for the 600.00 range

I bought a lightly used blackwood inlayed damascus recently for $500... that may have been on the low-end though. Keep me in mind if/when you sell. I may be interested

$450-$550 is decent for a used inlay with Damascus, especially if the show side is scratched. As with all things, pattern on blade and inlays will matter as substantially.
