I have a nib 2 dot 110 I inherited. The papers say 1978. It has never been used and still wrapped in paper. I have takin it out and handled it and removed some green off of the bolsters because it was stored outside in a garage in humid climate. Just would like a value on this knife from someone who knows them. It has a Champion spark plug logo on the blade as I believe my relative received it as a gift from a vendor back when they still did that.

Sorry man you can't ask for value on any thing around here please edit your post according. You can how ever ask a mod to move this thread to Bernard levines knife identification (please don't just start a news thread) they'll tell you how rare it is and give you some history on it.

I believe that you are incorrect as the OP is a Gold member and as such is allowed to ask.

Yes, as a Gold member, he is entitled to ask values. The rule was put in place to keep non-paid members from asking values as a hint they were willing to sell.

I'm historically poor at values but what the heck. That variation 2 dot(3 large headed brass scale rivots and a stainless headed rocker rivot) is the most available but NIB, I think 75-100 bucks would be doable.

Ive paid as little as $50 for a nib two dot. but 1 recently ended on the bay for over $100
but it my opinion the logo on the blade can put some people of but attract others.

You knife is listed in the 1977 Special Projects list for Buck Knives but no production quantity was given. The 2009 Blades Guide lists a value of $75 for your "Champion" 110 knife. I recently purchased a NIB 2-dot 110 for $50 at a Knife Show. The "advertising" feature of your knife does have attraction to some especially since it's documented as having come from Buck and not an aftermarket modification. I would say between my information, Skeletor88's, and imafrits's you have a good ballpark idea. HTH

Edited to correct the year from 1987 to 1977.

For what it's worth, a year or so ago (maybe a bit longer) I bought four of them. All were brand new in the box and the boxes appeared to never have even been opened as none of the contents seem to have been disturbed at all. I got them for $60 each delivered.
