Value of an Engnath scrimshaw?

I'm curious - I have the opportunity to purchase a scrimshaw by Bob Engnath. The design is black and white and about 7" across:

The price is around $1,900.

I'm not a connaisseur of scrims, but I like 'em, and I like this one a lot (although the wolves look slanted a bit...)

Any input would be much appreciated...
