I received a Custom Shop Boss Jack (orange G10/Sage finish/Infi steel/Custom Shop logo) in a trade and it's a bit larger than I bargained for. I am considering putting it on the Exchange, just wondering the value, it is in perfect shape, edge looks to be perfect factory edge. Thanks for the advice.

Their not worth much. I'd give you $75 just to take it off your hands.:D

What is custom about it? Is there special grind work on it?

But seriously though it would depend on the blades finish and handle materials. You see them on the exchange anywhere from $275 to $375.

I don't remember exactly, but I think mine with a custom swedge was $600 from the shop... I think

Looks unused (?). Probably at the higher end of Sigarett's range. You can search for past sales of that model here on BF for further info. Good Luck...;-)

Belcher, I just snapped them with my phone, shoot me an email and I'll send them to you.

You can TRY to search for past sales, but unfortunately most sellers seem to think that deleting the price after the sale is the norm. Up until the Liu Kang era, almost all sellers left the price up. Then it flipped, and only a few of us still leave them.

I leave prices up as well and appreciate those that do the same. Since I am fairly new to Busse and Kin collecting having those historical values to research is invaluable.
THANK YOU to all that leave their prices posted!

Yes to above. Us newbies need them to get fully steeped in Busseknowledge...;-)

If you're trying to get a clue as to present or recent value, prices left on the exchange are your only real clues. I leave mine up as well. I also try to research any blades I'm looking for to see if the asking price is considered reasonable.
Pete

Lastly, does this belong under production fixed blades or custom knives to list it on the exchange?
